The Qing Hua Diana F+ by Dorophy Tang
Designer and illustrator Dorophy Tang has become the latest to add her unique touch to the Diana F+. This special edition reflects Tang’s signature style, which mixes vintage elements and traditional Chinese influences – known as Qing Hua Ci. The stunning Diana F+ that Dorophy Tang customised as a one-off for the Detrich Collection & Diana Vignettes Exhibition impressed us so much that we knew we had to ask her to create a version that could be made available for everyone! The package also features 4 of Dorophy Tang’s Shopping Baby illustrated postcards. Tang’s trademark Shopping Babies are cute and ironic little fashionista characters, which add that extra something special to this collectible Diana F+ edition.

Dorophy Tang

Dorophy Tang has been causing a stir in the design world for some time. She is a Hong Kong born and based product designer and illustrator, who’s famed for her signature style, which is inspired by Qing Hua Ci – traditional Chinese art and craftsmanship. She loves to mix up this vintage look with modern elements. As well as making a name for her designs, Dorophy Tang’s Shopping Baby Illustrations have become well known and loved for their light-hearted parody of trend culture. To date she’s collaborated with names such as 1000% Be@rbrick, Adidas and the Hong Kong based City Magazine.

    nice one!
for those of you who may wonder what Qing Hua Ci is, the literal translation would be something like "blue flower porcelin".

Received mine. Real thing looks nicer than in photos but I kinda hate the white rubber 'skin' on the body. Why not leave it as the original plastic surface?
