We were scared. More than 800 RSVPs for a store that fits 72 was a little worrying. Luckily our lomographic community are patient, relaxed, decent and cool. So everyone was happy to wait their turn to come and visit the most elegant store in the Newburgh Quarter.

The party started calm with everyone enjoying strawberries and cream while browsing through our weeks of hard work.

Things however turned vicious with the arrival of our first band Les Apaches. They entertained us with pure burlesuqe, analogue individuality and decided to pick up and turn newburgh street into an improvised street party.

It's very weird to see the back of my head in such detail. I find it very unsettling. Great video though! And a great night!

Youve got to realise that London is pretty damn big. Plus a large amount probably came from around the country :P. Lots of arty times in London.

Yay! someone told me yesterday, the shop was open. looks GOOD.
. Massive well done for those envolved.
I shall be visiting very soon.- now all those pesky questions about where to get this and where to get that have been answered.

Great night, Great store, Great people, Great music! you all worked so hard it was marvelous and really nice to know we now have our very own shop.

I didn't stay for the party but shared some champers at the recpetion and signed the guest book. So glad we have somewhere to go in London now. Thanks for a great evening :)

Was a fantastic night. Thanks Lomography! Also bought a much needed flash for my Diana. Store looks amazing! Don't know how you managed to fit so much into a small store, definitley the best looking store on Newburgh St.
