Hey, im Ivan Guerra aka Decuz (also Dreczter, Drexler, Drecuz, Dexter), 24 years old and well, born in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, grow in Hermosillo, Sonora, in these days im back to my hometown to finish my career, now im trying to sell my own work

How did you know lomography?(tell us your first experience with lomo)

In 2005 a friend of mine called Gibrán V.M. was part of the crew from the Mexico city Magazine called Ene-O he give me a number of that month, and i read an article about Lomography presenting the Action sampler founded in Tepito, i was already taking pictures in the analogue/experimental way.

Which was your first camera and how did you get it?

My first camera was a Minolta SRT 100x i took form a box of my dad in the closet. the firs lomographic camera was the fisheye no.2 i order it from the headquarter of Lomography in Vienna, Austria

Favorite film? Why?

Kodak Ekctachrome VS 100 by far, its totally impredectible, contrast and good saturation, could give you excellent result if you press the shutter in the right time/space/light.

Any strange history about you and the photography?

About, two months ago i took a picture of a neighborhood called Jesus Téran with the Holga 120 CFN loaded with 35 mm film, and when i saw the results i look that it was like a drop of water touching the sky, is not a double, until the day of now i wonder what is this!!!!!??? take a loook http://www.lomography.com/homes/decuz/albums/holga-35mm/photos/3580751

now my life is totally about analogue photography, i see this movement a life style, lomography is a life style.

A great history behind this picture, cause was taked in the dessert of Sonora, San nicolas, 8 hours with the cable releaser in the Minolta, loeaded with my favorite film, a night full of laughs, acid, good music, nature, good friends, fire and animals.

Black and white or color?… or Maybe red scale?

I say redscale, i havent try black and white film but soon i will!!!!

In Chichen Itzá full of all types of cameras and films!!! yeah!

Ok this is the last one: just tell us how is a day in the life of decuz…

Wake up in the morning with dark coffee and reggae music, eat breakfast, some eggs, fish, chicken, go to play basquetball, regularly i take pictures every 3 or 4 days, go to downtown, drink some beer and walk around shooting things that awakes me some kind of good feelling, people, urban context etc. when i get back home i like to listen krs one albums, some drill and bass, and of course Lightning Bolt!!!!!
