Despite living in the same city, or maybe because of that, Stouf and I never did a film swap… we have shot together, develope film together but no swaps between us. But then in June he went to Halifax for one month and while he was there he asked me to sent him a package of films that arrived at his place while he was out. And then I thought, hey, I will shot some films in Quebec and then send it to him in the same package so he can do some doubles in Halifax.

So I took my Holga and while going to his place to pick up his package I took photos with 3 Velvia (120 film, 100 iso). That was 36 photos I shot in 1 hour, roughly a photo each 2 minutes. Then I sent the films to Halifax with a message to stouf asking him to do some doubles. He shot the films with his Holga GN spiced with a green filter. After that he took the films to a lab in Halifax to do a cross-process and when he came back to Quebec he gave me the films so I could scan them.

And the results are nice, I specially like 3 of the doubles we did (guess which ones!), though sometimes the layer I shot is not that apparent in the final result. Maybe is because I shot mostly with the sun aperture of my Holga (I have a modified Holga, I did it as stouf explains in his Lovely Holga Tipster and it was actually not that sunny! Anyway, love the results (xpro rules!) and i am looking forward of doing more swaps!!
