Every Cloud Has Its Silver Lining: An Analogue Fashion Shoot
written by ukaaa on July 19th, 2009 , 11 comments (15 votes)

A while ago, a friend asked me if I could help his girlfriend with a fashion shoot for her Master’s project in fashion design. The collection is called “Every Cloud Has Its Silver Lining” and shows some interesting designs.

Her ideas about the photo shoot were clear: she wanted colourful photos with a playful or confusing depth of field, preferably analogue. What better chance did we have than using the Lomo LC-A? :)

We wrote down a lot of good ideas, but in the end, the weather was cold and generally bad and we had to cancel most of the experimental ones. To spare the models from freezing to death, we did some quicker, more simple shots instead.

This was my first proper photo shoot and it was a great experience with a lot of fun!

Fashion & make-up: Han Mannaert
Models: Mira Feryn & Karen Van Godtsenhoven
Gear: Lomo LC-A + Fujicolor Superia 200
