Is it just a kind of "lens" that can be used with other Diana+/F+ or is it the whole specific yellow Diana camera?

@vicuna: it's a stand-alone Diana unit, and the filters/functions are specifically for this model. :)

huh :( but it solely contradicts to the Diana F+ philosophy (contrary to Holga's, for example): Diana F+ had always been a platform, a transformer with a complete range of accessories. Why change it this time, guys? :( Why carry two big cameras when we could have just only another lens? :(

@breakphreak: you can't just add a lens to create a new lens-less effect... the beauty here is that you have the option for 2 or 3 pinholes, combined with the filters to create a very unique effect... there is no way to add that to the original diana+ because you can't create new pinhole openings...

besides, the price is not much higher than a diana+ lens, so here you get a whole camera that can be combined with the two diana+ backs for incredible versatility.... :)

@ouroborosx: thanks for replying. Just trying to understand. I've tried the combination Diana F+ pinhole & any Diana lens mounted and it worked. What if I would have the original Diana F+ with the biggest aperture opened (cloudy), and then would have a "lens" with 3 pinholes (let's remove the color filters for simplicity)?

@ouroborosx: PS: the "new imaginary" pinhole lens would mount very-very close of course, so the focal distance would be almost the same. It can even have a small "cap" (nipple?:) turned inside the camera, just where the original pinhole is :) I can supply a drawing for a better clarity - just ask.
