Doubles With You: Vicuna& lucasjakobsson
written by vicuna on May 28, 2009 , 15 comments (16 votes)

As a staff member here at Lomography I often get to sit and awe at all the wonderful shots that exist out there (actually they are just a click away in the Photos section). I wanted to join in the fun and 2 rolls later here are the results with Vicuna. I really like the results and I think that the majority of my future doubles will be done with the Lomography Redscale Film, its simply awesome! Why? Its the deep tones, the apocalyptic feel and while I sometimes prefer to get the “normal” colors for other shots, for doubles this effect really is the “cheery on top.”

This is what Vicuna had to say:

“As I always like to experiment doubles with new Lomo-partners around the world (and I already made doubles with 35 different Lomographers producing 88 double exposed films… now it’s 36 – 90 ;) I was looking for someone I didn’t made a film swapping with. I saw in the Doubles With You entry about the collaboration between lomodirk & larslau (amazing work they did there!) that lucasjakobsson wanted to make doubles with someone. “How great” I tough and proposed him immediately to swap 2 rolls of film (a Lomo Redscale & a Kodak Elitechrome EBX) with LC-A/LC-A+)"And here are the results! :)
