Hey everyone! It’s my turn now to cruise the Photos page to check what’s hot and what’s new. There’s certainly plenty of things to do here and whenever I have some free time, looking for inspiration or pegs for a potential shoot, Lomography’s Photos give access to a vast amount of gorgeous images!
On a personal note, I’ve always taken a liking to people photos, whether they be posed portraits complete with complicated lighting setups or shooting from the hip Lomo-style. These photos for me give a glimpse towards a facet of the life of the subject. It asks, even begs for a story. Who is the subject? What is he doing? It makes you think and inspires you to go out and shoot and more importantly, creates a human element and life in your images.
With this in mind, I searched around the Photos for portrait tags and was delighted at what lay before me. A virtual bevy of deliciously delightful portraits were ripe for the taking. I tried to stray from the obvious picks and show you some gems I was able to unearth. So take a moment, hold on to your seats, here’s the photos of the week!
