What was your first Lomographic experience? How was it?

Got a Holga to take pictures in Tel-Aviv and Sinai, Egypt. Can’t stop since those psychedelic pics.

What’s your favorite photography/Lomography trick?

Well, tricks come and go. I’d rather prefer techniques instead and some digital postprocessing afterwards :) No doubt, that technique would be multiple exposure :) The trigger is from outside and the surprise is all yours (you could never get such random combination while dragging layers in Photoshop). When thinking is multiplied by luck the results can be quite charming :) However, here is something new from my pocket: tried the following trick with MuDan camera and Diana lens. The trick is to find the distance while attaching the reversed lens to the upper lens of MuDan TLR and then to switch it to the lower TLR lens for making the shot.

What’s your favourite camera + film combo?

Tough one… I am still exploring various films beauty. Of all my cameras I like MuDan MD-1 (Chinese TLR) and Diana F+. First one is 30 years old horse (and still running :). Other is a Lego, not a camera. It’s like carrying a whole kitchen in your pocket. Lightweight and powerful it allows to assemble the required configuration in seconds.

Any funny or strange experiences while taking pictures?

Looking forward for it :) Thinking of playing musical gig while taking pics of myself.

Someone wants your photo up on a billboard. Which photo would it be?

It’s all about soundscapes. Those of a kind that every subsequent listening will explore new surprises. True IDM masterpieces can be never boring and for the Billboard I would be mad to take a Lomo portrait of Squarepusher, Autechre or Aphex Twin :) And yeah, that’s the time to mention them in a music magazine :) Meanwhile, just listen to sound waves.

If you could collaborate with someone for a Lomographic project, who would it be?

I am in the neverending project with my girlfriend Rena :)

A day in the life of a “crisis victim”

Getting up in afternoon. Making Lomo pics. Getting back development films from the lab. Scanning pics. Posting LomoLocations. Chatting, meeting friends, making music. Seeing the sun, falling asleep :)

Name three things that inspire you.

A propeller, warm jacket and zeppelin ticket

What’s keeping you busy lately?

Working on a electronic live performance of my own. Trying to understand the photography industry principles to get some pictures on exhibition walls. Trying to learn more Chinese. Dreaming about India…

Recommend something good!

Save some money and go for a few months to experience the Lomographic heaven of China :)

@ethermoon: you are probably referring to the stalactites' cage image, shut in Guilin. The roofs image is from Tel-Aviv.
