The Lomographic Society International develops, designs and distributes analogue cameras and lifestyle products under the brand „Lomography“. This includes innovative analogue cameras and accessories, film and books, as well as bags and fashion items. We are an international company with various subsidiaries around the world and our headquarters are located in Vienna, Austria. Our website www.lomography.com is one of the biggest worldwide online photo communities for creative photography. We organize photo-contests and other community activities as well as international exhibitions. Lomography offers its products in its online shops and dedicated Lomography gallery shops globally (in Asia, the USA, South America and Europe). We also supply design-, museum-, gallery-, gadget-, & concept stores with our unique products.
ObjectiveLomography USA is expanding its team and looks for a regional manager for the US west cost operation. We are soon opening our new Lomography Gallery Store in Los Angeles, CA and therefore looking for someone to manage this shop, but also handle wholesale matters along the west coast and represent Lomography in marketing and community activities in California. This position will be supervised by the Lomography headquarters in Vienna, and also work in close cooperation with the management of Lomographic Corp. New York.
Description of tasks
Lomography Gallery Store
- Development of the Lomography Gallery Store in LA
This includes: adapting the store location, setting up the accounting, hiring and leading the store team, developing sales and marketing strategy in close cooperation with New York and Vienna and setting up the shop team!
- Management of the Lomography Gallery Store and its team in LA
Wholesale West Coast
- Regional management of all existing Wholesale accounts along the West Coast in coordination with NY office
- Acquisition of new WS accounts along the West Coast
Marketing
- Be in charge of all marketing events in the West Coast Area
- Be active in the Lomography Community
- Support the Lomography.com online team in related marketing matters

- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Any other additional language is of advantage
- At least basic knowledge of analogue photography and cameras
- Marketing, public relations, event management
- Working experience in any creative industry as advertising, design, …
- Back office management of a trading commerce
- Logistics, inventory and/or customs handling
- Accounting or other financial positions
