This week we see what it is like to add a bit of Fisheye to your classic LC-A vignettes. The results? Stunning. The comments? Read on:
“I love Lomography. And one of the things I really enjoy in this community is the possibility to make some double exposures with people all around the world. When I read that Callubum was looking for a doubles partner, I immediately said “I’m in!” He has a Fisheye, and I have an LC-A, that should work right (even though these two cameras may not be the easiest to do doubles with)? Soon a roll was on its way over to Callumbum, and he sent me 2 back.
My LC-A first layer roll that I sent him was not very conclusive in term of doubles, as on most of the pictures the Fisheye layer was too soft. The second roll, however, was much better. The LC-A layer was able to find its way in and around the Fisheye image, even if the pictures didn’t match! Above you can find a selection of our best shots: some panoramic, a mixture of people and things, strange colours…
Fisheye vs. LC-A may not be the obvious combination for doubles, but when something comes out, it is different and surprising… And we both love our shots! Furthermore it was Callumbum’s first double experience, and I hope it made him want to do some more!"
We do to! You up for it Callumbum? Are you looking for a new partner? Let us know in the comments and someone might respond (of course anyone should feel free to leave a comment)! Want to share your previous doubles? Then submit to the blog
