Pandre's Emulsion Guide

Here comes part 2 of my emulsionguide from Lisbon Portugal. If you wanna check out part 1 again just follow this link

Fuji Superia 1600

This film always comes handy if you are looking for a reliable film in low light conditions. As for black & white there is a couple different choices when it comes to ISO 1600 or more films, but with color negative this one is about the only one still standing strong. As i hardly use flash, can’t even remember the last time I did, this one always goes into my camera bag when it comes to late night shooting.

Kodak TMZ 3200

Speaking of high ISO films this one is defintitly a beast with it’s 3200. I took it with me walking the darkest alley in the old town of Lisbon on a moonless night ;). Although i probably should have taken a proper tripod with me, as much as i like beer cans they have their disandavtages when it comes to shoot something above table level, I’m still satisfied how some of the shots turned out, but somethimes it even gets to dark for 3200 ISO .

Kodak Elitechrome EB 100

I think I already told you last time how much I LOVE the Kodak EBX. Well, for a little more gentle and subtle approach color wise the Elitechrome EB 100 is just perfect. Also with this film the difference between a picture exposed normally in sunslightand one a little over or long time exposed is quite vivid. As most slide films, once you give them a little too much light they go completly crazy and spit colors in your face.

So thats it for this time, as the weather is great I try to shoot some over the weekend and be back with a very special, and I mean very special, surprise next week. Ah and I still own you that Velvia 50 watch out for that one as well.
