Lab Rats - Fear Factor

Some rolls of film will do just about anything to get their 15 minutes of fame. This week on Lab Rats, Lomography’s own dedicated film feature, we bring you what may be some of the bravest rolls of film out there! Fearless and courageous, our 3 film roll volunteers just could not stand being treated like a normal film, they wanted to become stars! After proving their dedication to the task at hand in last month’s audition, our three volunteers were assigned a daring task each! Play With Your Negatives

That’s right, you heard us! Sometimes it’s ok not to think too much about the camera to use, which settings you apply and the angle that you pick! Instead let your film have some fun! That’s what ePug did. Instead of playing around too much with his cameras he instead had his negatives developed, dug out his old typewriter from the basement and started writing all over them! How ‘bout bringing the caption into the picture?

Writings on the Wall

Good ideas may be right in front of you, literally. Oldskool_rider was doing what he loves best, riding his BMX with an analogue goodie in hand – searching for the perfect Lomograph. Passing some graffiti on the way to his next meet up he realized that you do not need graffiti motifs to actually capture graffiti! As long as you have a permanent marker, a dark place and some imagination you should be fine!

Handle your film with care. “Yeah right”, Somapic said, as he eyed a brave roll of film lying on his table next to a film changing bag. As a fan of blurry and distorted images, he decided to try something of his own: film crumbling!
