Lomography Online & What's Coming in 2009

As you know, we have relaunched some parts of the website, particularly the Magazine section – ranging from everyday news to the best locations, contests to more info on your favorite gear, among others. We’ve also started the relaunch on your Lomohomes and picture uploads, and so far, here are the stats:

Lomography Online Competitions:

In 2008 we held scores of competitions like never before – large and small alike. To start of – like other years we teamed up with Urban Outfitters where we together with you embarked on a journey to find the perfect Urban Nomads around checking out your photojourneys across the globe.

Inspired by Lomography golden rule number 4 – “try the shoot from the hip” – we teamed up with JPG and hosted a competition where you had to find the perfect photograph, of course shoot from the “hip.” In conjunction with the release of the new Lubitel + we held a rumble to find the finest Lubitel shoots that will be used to for the new and upcoming Lubitel book.

The authors that we are – we are also currently putting together a tribute for our multilens lens friends – for which we held a special rumble find the best sample shoots out there. One of the other highlights this year was our rumble held for the Photokina – to which you submitted thousands of shots that were used to create the largest Lomowall ever!

LOTS OF FILM

Our film family is expanding like crazy – and Lomography will be your best source of our own (Lomography) 35mm and 120 films, plus a collection of the finest film from all other brands! These will be available both online and offline!

CAMERA CUSTOMIZATION
