Le Mois de Décembre at the Lomography Store Paris

December has been a very busy month at the Lomography Store in Paris.

We kicked it off with a unplugged gig by our friends, the French band Herman Düne at the boutique just days before they sold out the legendary Olympia Music Hall.

From their album “Next Year In Zion”, Yaya, Néman and Ben played “Don’t You Worry a Bit”

First Time

… and from our series Improve Your French with Lomography Paris an interview with the boys in Langue Française!

Le Corps Mince de Françoise DJ Set

Shortly after that: Scandinavian Tropicalism. The girls from the hottest Finnish act “Le Corps Mince de Françoise” stopped at the shop for an improvised last minute DJ set, celebrating the Finnish National Holiday. We rolled Suomi style with Salmiakki and Kosenkorva.

A Supersonic Cold War Cocktail.

A week later we welcomed the Russian Winter with a Supersonic Cold War Cocktail, the Lomographic equivalent of a “Flaming Moe’s”, times 10. Pretty shmoove, mes amis!

Finally there was also a call from Radio France Culture. Russian Journalist and Lomographer since his teenage years, Alexis Ipatovtsev, invited the ambassador for a chitchat on the history of the Lomo LC-A camera and the outlook of analogue photography.
