My (Love) Lomo Story

My Lomo story started a long time ago when I saw the Actionsampler in a magazine, but it was only abstract to me at the time. I was not sure that a plastic camera could work well, so I did not decide to buy it right then. Then I searched and learned about all Lomographic cameras to make sure that they were not toys. About two years later, my abstractness became existence.
On August 13, 2006, my boyfriend and I traveled around Rattanakosin Island, Bangkok, and I saw a lovely couple that a girl was taking her boyfriend’s photos with a Fisheye2 camera. I told my boyfriend that I wanted this camera. He said “OK, bought it.” Then we went to a shop to buy it. This was my first camera that I really loved.
December 8, 2006 was my Birthday. I was very surprised that my boyfriend gave me the rubble blue Supersampler camera. I was so happy and nearly cried. I did not believe that he can remember the shop we used to buy the Fisheye2 (it was his first time to visit the shop). He bought it while I was watching some Korean TV series on a holiday. He told me he went to supermarket which was near his home with his mother. So, I had never known that he went to buy Supersampler as the shop was very far from his house. Thanks God for the precious gift and the lovely boyfriend. It was one of the best and surprised Birthdays in my life!
Today, I have five Lomo cameras: the Fisheye 2, Supersampler, Colorsplash Camera, Holga 120CFN and Actionsampler.
