To accompany the Lubitel tales out there in the magazine we though we could get you all into a Russian mood and take you back to the city where it all began, St. Petersburg, the home of the original Lomo factory, the LC-A and the Lubitel. 2superlighter: hey hey, better call it "leningrado" as Stalingrad is absolutely different city, that is now called Volgograd))

haaaaarghhhhh!! sorry sorry sorry!!! what a stupid mistake! ov course that was Leningrado and not Stalingrado! too much Varnelli spirit last night...

we have to trust the submissions that we get to be acurate (for example that they are taken with the said film, camera and in the correct place) neverthless deep apoloagies if there is a mistake

Beautiful city, I wish I could go there one day...
It's such a shame Russian government and some European ones don't have better relations.

Moving to Paris in November of 2009... hope to visit.
