I’m assuming you’re all familiar with the “Behind the Scenes” feature here in the blog, where we ask some of the most active Lomographers in the community a list of questions, mostly about their analog life.
We’re introducing a new feature called “My Friend _______.” The blank is where you fill in the name of a person from the community that you choose to interview. Yes, now it’s your turn to introduce your friend via a series of Q&A! Then it will be posted on the blog, and the interviewee will get the chance to pick someone to interview, too! Does it sound confusing? Don’t worry – we’ll be posting about the guidelines very soon.
In the meantime, I would like to introduce all of you to My Friend, Fookshit!
Name: my friends call me FOOKSHIT
Location: currently in MANILA
Work: photographer/photomontagist/stylist/film fetishist
The first time I met you, you mentioned that you’re always online. What do you do when you’re offline, then?
I take snapshots of anything and have them processed to make some new pictures. I cut photos/magazine pages and paste them together to make new pictures. I sleep (a lot) because I always see new pictures whenever I am dreaming.
Name three items that you can’t live without.
iPod, Olympus mju1 film camera, my notebook w/internet conexion
Any interesting photography-related stories?
erm … none, sorry
If you could take a photo of someone – famous or not – who would it be?
TWO TOM (http://www.myspace.com/twotom) i want to wear his designs while I’m taking his photographs.
The story of your life in video/song/movie would be:
video: yuki – sentimental journey (http://www.partizan.com/partizan/v.php/nagi_noda_yuki_sentimental_journey/)
song: LO-FI FNK (PRONOUNCED AS LOW FAI FUNK)-“steppin’ out” (http://www.myspace.com/lofifnksweden) – as of now
movie: all about lily chou-chou by shunji iwai
A Day in the life of Fookshit:
coffee. film reviews. feeding my cats.
If you could wallpaper the sky with one of your images, which one would it be?

- a boy smiling back at me.
Your ultimate pet peeve:
there’s this guy who always lurks here in lomography.com and then he’ll blabber about the film class being not credible enough on another photography website.
Dream project/collaboration:
it would be – again – TWO TOM for my WHY DON’T YOU SHOOT BOYS series (http://fookshit.xlogz.com)
Recommend something good.
