colette is famed for being one of the world’s leading boutiques when it comes to groundbreaking products and trendsetting urban style, art and culture.

When brainstorming on our special edition colette Diana F+ camera we decided it would be interesting to explore and celebrate the great diversity of feminine views and voices, in connection with the Diana’s feminine name. No sooner said than done, Sarah, colette’s Miss, flicked through her rolodex and invited 12 of her most precious female friends from all over the world to add their unique outlook to our book.

That’s one part of the book.
The other part is going to be created by you!

Is this really exclusively for female dianagraphers or is it only the shot that must represent a female point of vue, that means a women in a situation and the story telling something about this situation...???

Can I use to the 35mm back, or do you want only 120 shots?

Yeah, I'm also kind of confused about allowing males to participate, while it implies women only, it doesn't directly say CHICKS ONLY. :\

@vicuna :: It is "Through a Women's Lens" from the "female perspective," so yes, you have to be female. The colette lady is having 12 of her "favorite female friends" do this and there is room for 10 more winning women to do the rest of the book!

hmmmm.... to make it clear... is my MALE way of thinking and shooting FEMALE okay? or do i have to be female to enter? or is it just the spirit? the spirit of being female?
you know, i took some shots of my nephew i want to enter and... but AM I ALLOWED TO?

the jury will select the best stories according to the theme of "through a woman's lens".
ultimately, "through a woman's lens" also refers to the diana as a female name - so whoever takes shots with this camera actually looks "through a woman's lens"...

--in the end nobody knows who, male or female, is behind a lomography.com nickname. .
