Lab Rat excitement is at its peak once again! Our call-out for entries has been successful, as we were flooded with your entries – it just goes to show that we’ve got a lot of talented Lab Rat stars in the community!
Previously we’ve been playing with fire and other potent chemicals; now we’ve got less lethal (but exciting as always) experiments to have fun with.
It doesn’t cost anything to try these new tricks – you probably have some of the necessary tools lying around in the house. All it takes is guts! Determination! See what our Lab Rat Talents came up with, as tested by Lab Rat Master, Mandi. The third experiment you will see today comes to us as a result of Stephen Grebinski’s blood, sweat and WD-40…

Fun With WD-40

Stephen stumbled on this experiment by accident. “I had sprayed a ton of WD-40 lubricant all over the inside of my camera to make it run more smoothly, and it wound up getting all over the film,” he said. “The results? Some of the emulsion has these weird marks where the chemicals must have eaten away at the surface, and in others, there are random lines and enhanced softness.”
