Always thinking of how we can improve your experience on the website, we though that we would change the order that the comments are posted. PREVIOUSLY, the first message was posted on top with newer comments below. NOW, the freshest comments are posted on top as the older messages climb down the ladder.

We want to know what YOU think. Which way should we keep? What makes you the happiest? What is the most convenient for you? Please tell us by leaving a comment.

IMPORTANT: Please start each comment with either YES (that means that you prefer the new way, fresh messages on top) or NO (old way, fresh messages on bottom). BE SURE to write YES/NO with CAPITAL LETTERS.

Example:

NO - because it is new and DIGITAL. I want it all back analogue, like in a book, in a magazine, in a fabulous lomogoodies manuals and so on... :) Except maybe there could be an exact time of each comment in place of "1 hour ago". If there is a problem, of fixing the time, you write those comments, maybe we could make a LOMO TIME? Let's say 00:00 is when the London has 12:34... no, no!! just kidding bout that one :)

NO. chronological is more... logical :-) the occidental language is supposed to be read from the top to the bottom, no ? otherwise we could also try from the right to the left ?! hihihi
and from the newest to the oldest means we would read some reactions before what caused them or answers before questions... would be weird, no ?

NO - reading like a book is better. I don't want to have to scroll all the way down just to have to scroll up again. Also, since the box for adding new comments is at the bottom, it makes sense to be able to see what has been written most recently at the bottom too. Thanks for asking us :)

NO again and again. it is really stupid to have this box on bottom and the latest reply on top when so many answers were posted. if you want to reply to several people you have to scroll up and down all the time. if you change it, please put the box on top. that would be cool if you are lloking through a gallery and want to write something to pictures. so maybe YES if you change the place of the box....

Dear Lomographers!

As some of you have suggested, the new system makes no sense if the comment box is on the bottom. As such we have placed the comment box above the comments for now, where it will stay until Monday next week (1st of September).

The reason that we asked for your opinion on the issue was, as most of you know, that everything else on the site is organized in such a way that the newest post is on top (news, magazine, photo uploads) as is the organization many other popular websites.

Depending on what the final toll is on Monday the comments will be organized accordingly.

I find it ok if the comment box is on the top, instead of scrolling down, but I really prefer to read the comments in chronological order, oldest on top and newest at the end.......

it's no fun to read answer before the question.
maybe it's usefull something like on YouTube comments, a "replay" button so that my opinion go below the comment I want to replay.

i already voted, just wanted to state why i voted yes.

it matches the rest of the site, newest news feeds are up first, newest blogs are up first, newest gustbook entries are up first, newest lomohome blogs are first, newest mission entries are up first. i think the comments should be the same way.

i think the comment box should be on the bottom. but to avoid endless scrolling to get to the bottom, maybe the there should be a max of maybe 10 comments and then older comments would go to a new comment page. kinda like how youtube and flickr have the comments set up.

The comments will stay this way until monday the 1st of September. Then we will go through all the comments and count all the votes and see how it is that you have choosen. Until then we will keep the polls open!

NO, 'cause I would like to read comments in a chronological order. Usually, when there are new posts, I want to read every comment, that's why to me it differs from new blogs or guestbook entries (my statement to xbalboax opinion). There are, by far, not as many new blogs as there are new comments. I prefer the traditional way, 'cause hey: That's how we write as well. From left to right, and from - attention please - top to bottom.
