As you all already know by now, Lomography and Urban Outfitters
have teamed up once again to bring you an international photo competition called “Urban Nomad.” Last year’s competition was such an incredible success, and from the looks of it so far, this year is already shaping up to be another stellar competition.
So let’s go over the game-plan here.
Over the next three weeks, you’ve got three different avenues to document your rambling lifestyle:
- Where you went and how you got there
- What you did and what you saw
- Who you went with and who you met
At the end of each week, we’ll announce 15 winners, 5 for every category. The winners will each receive a shiny new Lomographic camera or an Urban Outfitters gift voucher. With three weeks of competition, that’s 45 prizes to be given away!
Here’s the prize breakdown, in case your mind is not sufficiently blown yet:
Week one:
- First Place: LC-A+ camera
- 2nd – 5th Place: Diana+ Dreamer Edition
- 6th – 10th Place: Fisheye Camera
- 11th – 15th Place: Oktomat Camera
Week two:
- First Place: Diana F+ Camera, Diana+ Lens System (20mm Fisheye Lens, 38mm Super Wide Lens, 55mm Wide & Close-Up Lens, 110mm Soft Telephoto Lens), Diana+ Splitzer, Diana+ 35mm Back

By submitting photos with the featured cameras of the week, you greatly increase your chances of winning, as 8 of the 15 winners will be chosen from each week’s featured camera.
