The Epic Edits $50 Film Camera Competition
written by ouroborosx on August 11th, 2008 , 21 comments (1 vote)

Our friends at the very cool photography blog Epic Edits contacted us recently about a project/competition aimed to show how affordable and exciting film photography can be. Well, that’s right up our alley, so we were happy to help out and sponsor the competition with some brand-spankin’ new (and $50 and under) Diana+ cameras. Our other friends at Ilford have also decided to throw in some fresh 120 film to make the competition that much more enticing.

Get all the info you need right here!

Here’s the lowdown:

1. Find a Film Camera for Under $50

2. Shoot Some Film With Your New Camera!

3. Write a Review of Your Camera

4. Publish a Photo of Your Camera

5. Publish an Entire Roll of Photos

6. Submit Your Link Here

7. DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2008

yes and yes... as long as you got the camera for $50 and under it is fine... and you can submit the same review if you wish, or change it up... i guess it depends on if you still feel the same way about your camera, or if your feelings have changed... ;)

im from the uk so im guessing we have to have a camera under around the £25 mark!
im not sure whether to use my Praktica LTL or i have a Pentax auto 110 which would be quite cool to use!
this should be a fun one!

@ revamp: indeed it can... any FILM camera that you bought for under $50... it doesn't need to be a Lomography camera, just a FILM camera that works and that you can post a complete roll of film from... pretty cool, huh? :)

Can I post more than one (1) cam/review?

I bought a bunch of cameras in Ukraine this summer (Kiev 4A, BeLomo Vilia, Kiev 30M, Zenith ET) all for less than $30 each...

This is an exciting contest =)

click on the link above and go to the epic edits page that describes exactly how to submit... basically, you're going to have to upload your photos somewhere on the net and then submit to them a link... perhaps make an album on your lomohome, then link them to the album?
    :)
