Each Diana+ 35mm back includes a series of plastic frames – allowing you to choose from one of four different formats on everyday 35mm film. Two exposure counters are built into the Back, so you can keep close tabs on how much you’re shooting.

Listen closely, this is really crucial: When using the Diana+ 35mm back your shutter release and film advance is not connected. This means that – just like with the Diana+’s normal 120 film – you can shoot as many exposures as you like and advance as far (or as little) as you like. Even though the Back perfectly shoots the four formats above, it’s capable of all sorts of super-panoramics, overlapping squares, multiple-exposed rectangles with breaks in the middle – or a single never-ending image which stretches the ENTIRE LENGTH OF YOUR FILM ROLL!
Add in the variables of our many Diana+ lenses (and the Pinhole setting!), and you’re talking an infinite amount of possibilities. This is a radically new development in the world of 35mm analog photography, and we’re quite excited to travel hand-in-hand with you on the path of discovery.
