In the past, I've missed jumping on the new camera or film bandwagon, meaning I’d miss the exciting frontier of trying out a product that everyone didn't already own. However, I recently jumped onto the new Belair X 6-12 bandwagon and below are my first thoughts of owning and shooting with this new and unique camera.

A fresh start awaits me as the month of January came underway, providing a great period to put some goals and changes in place. Lomography, being very much a part of me, is absolutely in that list of goals, so below is my list of goals in writing (meaning I have to do them, hold me on that one).

I'm going to be shooting a few short films on the coast line in South Wales to blend my love of music and analogue photography. The idea is to create a few short trailers for my new musical project using short clips of music from our songs to 20/30-second long LomoKino movies.

"Exposure to light is magic. Whether it’s a roll of film or a roll of packing tape, both are pretty boring brown strips without the transformation through light, right?" Our latest Lomo Amigo Max Zorn is a dedicated analogue artist who hits the streets and makes art out of brown tape. Armed with a La Sardina he covered his daily life for a couple of months. Make no bones about Jack White being one of the craftier rockstars out there. When he isn't shredding guitars in concert, he's producing experimental records on various media, like his latest one on flex-ray discs made of x-ray film!

There's a certain poetry in images. A reality modified by a magic lens that observes impassive the time passing by; an unpredictable viewer exuding color. When I was given the beautiful Diana Mini, I was not sure about what to do, how would the photos come out, or even worse, if they would come out...

The same way goes to our lomo life. Lomography being a way of life already for most of us, it has become a part of our plans for the up-coming year.
