I went back to my old school - this time I was allowed to shoot photographs during the lessons. I've always wondered what it would feel like to go back to school after graduating. Now I tried and it was quite an experience.

Using redscale film or having to DIY your own redscale film, you know deep inside that you are now officially a lomographer. This is because redscale is uniquely used by lomographers. By now, there are hundreds of apps that would recreate a lomograph, but the real thing is still way, way better. Still, there hasn't been an app that would create the beauty of a redscale photograph. Filters yes, but still no dice!

It's okay to don't think just shoot, but what's better is to think, budget, AND shoot. So maximize your slide film when you want to by D.I.Y. redscaling it with only using 3 or 5 of the last frames of the roll, cause the rest of it is very precious.

December 2011, my boyfriend and I went to Morocco where we stayed in a typical small hotel with no hot water. The necessary change of atmosphere made us enjoy ourselves with lots of sunshine, beautiful nature, mint tea, and couscous.
