The Recesky is probably the smallest 35mm TLR camera out there, and for sure the cheapest. This is a fun, DIY (do it yourself) kit that takes about 1-3 hours to assemble, after which you can have a ton of fun shooting with it.

Elena Ayllon is born in 1986 and grew up in Tokyo. European genes surrounded by Japanese culture; she moved back to Madrid, working with 35mm and giving to her picture this peculiar “freedom” of soul and style. Her story makes for a curious mixture of culture influences, which melt perfectly together in the composition of her images.

We've got incredible architecture, as apparent in iconic TransAmerica Pyramid, the San Francisco Ferry building, or the red arches of the Golden Gate Bridge. We're often so busy taking in landmarks that we hardly notice another aspect of the the city...The graffiti that penetrates every district and neighborhood.

Despite the unpredictable nature of doing multiple exposures on film, it’s never a waste for her even if there are only a few frames that came out good. This is actually what fascinates her with analogue photography – it’s not how much number of pictures you can take, rather, how you value the snaps you took!

The second edition of the LomoRoadShow at MadNes festival was even bigger and better than in 2011. Off we went, to party and take lomographs at Ameland, one of the Dutch islands, with the LomoRoadShow van and the entire Lomography the Netherlands team. Time for a recap!

After cutting off lots of heads and feet (in my photos!) when using the 35mm Back+ on my Diana, I finally came up with a simple way to get great shots -- even if you forget that you're shooting a different format!
