The second edition of the LomoRoadShow at MadNes festival was even bigger and better than in 2011. Off we went, to party and take lomographs at Ameland, one of the Dutch islands, with the LomoRoadShow van and the entire Lomography the Netherlands team. Time for a recap!

An acceptable pub in Wimbledon that doesn't smell weird and isn't too loud or too small. Hurrah for the safe haven of pub chains that is Wetherspoons.

After cutting off lots of heads and feet (in my photos!) when using the 35mm Back+ on my Diana, I finally came up with a simple way to get great shots -- even if you forget that you're shooting a different format!

We
spend
a
lot
of
time
wandering
around
and
looking
at
things:
Before
shows,
after
shows,
on
the
way
to
shows,
at
rehearsals...etc. Come
to
think
of
it,
being
in
a
band
is
really
all
about
waiting
and
searching
for
ways
to
kill
time.
We
decided
that
we
would
do
this
with
a
camera
in
hand
and
let
you
see
the
things
that
catch
our
eye.

We spend countless hours on the London Underground, hopping from tube to tube, switching lines, and minding the gap. Do you ever stop to observe the finer details of some of the system’s 270 stations?

Can you picture Olympic Games where women compete in full-length skirts instead of skin-tight bodysuits? How about runners taking more than 10 seconds to complete a hundred-meter dash? See them for yourself in these archived Olympic photos from 1936 and beyond.

Sexy. That's a word you probably wouldn't associate with celebrities like Chevy Chase or Helen Mirren. But you might change your mind when you see these smoldering vintage photos of a topless Christopher Walken, seductive Susan Sarandon, and much more! Is your favourite award-winning actor on this alluring list?

Numerous attractions, the 2012 Olympics, Harry Potter, and the Royal Family aside, what else is there to be excited about going to London? Given the city's popularity, each and every one of us practically has an idea of what can be found in London...or do you? Just to refresh your memory, here are some things that are definitely, quintessentially-London.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for: the official release of the LomoKino music video by Dutch singer-songwriter Blaudzun. A special release party with lomographer and filmmaker David who’s made the music video, and an intimate analogue performance by Blaudzun himself.

A few weeks ago, I decided to be more spontaneous. Luckily for me, my family feels the same way and also love nothing more than being outside in the great outdoors!

Is that really a camera? Why yes, dear sir, it is, indeed. And it takes interesting, sometimes eerie vintagey photos of people. Here's my induction to the 'world' of 110 with my first two rolls of Lomography Color Tiger 110 together with an awesome flea market find, the Kodak Ektralite 10!

Along with our La Sardina DIY camera we’d like to present several DIY projects to inspire you. Our seventh project is a cool tutorial on how to make your own Biltwell custom leather motorcycle seat by Corinna Mantlo.

The thing that most people think of when they think of Devon is cream tea. A Devonian cream tea is a delicious feast of light, crumbly scones, an enormous dollop of Devonshire clotted cream, and half a pot of jam smeared on top. A proper scone really is something magnificent and armed with this recipe, you can astound everyone you cook them for.

Brick Lane Coffee - as quirky as it gets. This is what their web site page says: "We're locally owned and have been getting your orders wrong since 1999. All our milk is organic and always has been (even before it was trendy). Our coffee is fair trade organic and sourced directly by us (we've visited growers in Papua New Guinea twice)". Now here's what I have to say about it.

Now that the London games are all set to open today, we bring you yet another teeny look at the pages of history to satisfy that curiosity about the first Olympic Games in the modern times.
-
Remember the acidic anthems of 'Elixir Always' by Collapsing Cities that got Britain's locals and press (including NME and The Guardian) addicted to their groove? Well if you haven't heard, they've already released a new album called, 'Strangers Again'.

Tudorcolor XLX 200 is a cheap, possibly rebranded version of a quality C41 film at a fraction of the cost. Used as test film for two newly purchased SLR's read on to see if Tudor is a King of Film or a fat lump of lard. Sorry for the poor Henry The VIII analogy.
