Once part of Trosley Towers Estate, the park covers 160 acres woodland and chalk downland, which is rich in wildlife. Animals have been re-introduced to the park to graze the chalk grasslands which support many rare and important plants and animals, such as the chalkhill blue butterfly and the musk orchid. There are two walks within the park: an easy-access trail through the woodland or the more adventurous can try the walk on the downland, which gives panoramic views across the Weald from the steep grass slopes.
