I took a chance on a roll of Kodak Ektachrome Elite II 100 film which expired in 1998. It wasn't well-stored so I had the lowest expectations of the $3 discontinued slide film. But after using it on my trip to Boracay, I ended up loving the photos and now want to buy the rest of the deadstock! Find out why here.

Hike on a historic World War II remnant and get a great workout with a view. Koko Head Crater trail is 1.5 miles from parking lot to the summit with an elevation of 1200 feet. The site was a supply system for a United States Air Force Station that brought troops and supplies up a cinder cone volcano during World War II. The remaining railroad ties act as the stairs that will assist you up the hill. This hike challenges you with a steep climb, but offers incredible views of Eastern Oahu.

Most people will say the best part of summer is being outside, at the beach, on the lake, camping. All true, but rarely do your photos give you that look or feel of “being there.” However the underwater camera really helps break through.
