Not only have we had a great response from the community, seeing new videos uploaded on a daily basis, the existing videos have been shared, liked and this special one has already been seen over 100,000 times!

In our 3rd installment of our ‘Magic of early cinema’ series, we take a look at ‘The Skeleton of Joy’, an 1897 film by the Lumière brothers. Sure, we may be used to seeing ghouls and monsters in our movies nowadays, but just imagine how it must have been to be an audience member at the end of the 19th century!

The School of Lomography, our final lesson – The Lubitel 166+. Testing this camera was last but definitely not least! We made our way from the Soho store to visit our sister store in East London, had a shoot around the graffiti ridden streets and learned how we can incorporate Lomography in our daily lives.

Sean Lotman is interested in the narrative potential of photography. In an ongoing project called I Do Haiku You, he composes haiku and senryu poetry to companion images taken with a Diana F+.

The Tate Modern is currently exhibiting the newest work from the American artist and photographer Taryn Simon, A Living Man Declared Dead and Other Chapters. This work involved Simon travelling the globe documenting various bloodlines and genealogies demonstrating the influence that external forces exert on families.

Billy Brown designer makes sticker camera in the 8-bit design. 91 different stickers from various eras of photography in the form of DSLRs and Canon L-series and other classic models such as TLRs, Polaroids. Of course, included are some of the beloved Lomography models.
