Summer is upon us and at the Lomography Gallery Store Toronto that means outdoor adventures a-plenty. The weekend of July 9th-10th we held the Diana Dialogues and Multiple Exposure workshops, and explored the neighbourhoods around us out in the beautiful sunny weather.

Found this old photo of my Dad when he was in college. He went to Art College so he and his friends made all sorts of creative experiments. This is one of them. It’s a photo taken with his Smena 8. Found it very inspiring and began to write a short story. Here’s what came out after a few hours. Hope you enjoy it !

Santa Fe, 1943. A 3-year-old little girl asked her Dad why she couldn't see the photograph that he had just taken of her. The Dad was challenged by this question - and within an hour he had cooked up an idea and scurried to a friend's house to discuss the possibility of a camera that would spit out the picture after exposure.
