On Sunday April 10th 2011 a Diana Mini workshop was held at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC - Gramercy. It was a rather gloomy day outside and we all held our breath waiting for the arrival of eager Diana miniers, but lucky for us, three Lomographers signed there names and grabbed a Diana Mini and were ready to learn all about the tiny camera!

“Is that our bus?” asked an eager Lomographer pointing out the window to the big yellow school bus parked in front of the Lomography Store. Yes indeed, a real yellow school bus was waiting to transport us to an undisclosed Lomo location. Anticipation was high as many participants had been looking forward to this event for weeks!

With its automatic exposure setting, the LOMO LC-A+ selects the aperture and exposure time automatically. The small light meter on the top right of the camera measures the outside light, then the corresponding shutter speed and aperture combination is selected; for indoor and outdoor shots, day, night, anytime.

I've invested quite heavily in digital photography for an amatuer. As well as a camera there's the lenses, filters, bags and even PC software and a graphics tablet. During the last 6-8 months though I've been using film more and more. This is how Lomo philosophy changed me.....
