Continuing our installment of interviews with the Lubitel Lovers, here is what "Graefin":http://beta.lomography.com/homes/graefin had to say:

Over the past couple of months, I have had the great privilege of testing out the new "Lomo Lubitel 166+":http://www.lomography.com/lubitel166+/ to get a feel for this amazing new camera. One of my favorite things to do, ever since I first discovered Lomography, has been to just go out walking with a camera and pockets stuffed with film, to just let the world come through my lens. It's a way of heightening your senses and really become attuned to the world around you. It has always been, for me, a very intimate approach to taking pictures, and if someone asked me, I'd say that's what Lomography is all about.

"Mephisto 19":http://beta.lomography.com/homes/mephisto19 is one of the most active members in the Lomographic community. He is also a Lubitel Lover. One of runners up to the Lubitel Rumble that ran this summer, he agreed to share his love for Lubitel with the rest of us.

If you like double exposures you will love the new "Lubitel 166+.":http://www.lomography.com/lubitel166+/ This camera allows you to rewind your medium format film as you please.

I discovered Lomography on a tiny article at the last page of a magazine, it had a really tiny picture of a Supersampler (I think it was a yellow one) but no sample picture, that plastic camera with four lens really catch my eye and I remember thinking “that’s awkward, a camera with four lens for 50€, I should get one for me” but time passed by and I forgot that tiny plastic wonder.

There were a lot of really good photos that take us back into a familiar yet distant era. Everyone really put into heart the notion of bringing it all back - resulting for this competition to be one of the most-participated round-the-clock rumbles yet!

After acquiring several cameras, they've all seemed to settle into their respective roles. Like a little camera society! My Holga tends to be the party animal - taken whenever there's a get together or a club outing. Diana likes to go with me to museums and galleries. My Feds are respectful and noble, used for weddings and 'serious' photography. The 'Samplers' are spontaneous and fun. Now what about Lubitel? Oh, Lubitel, why she's the most adventurous of all.

The word 'amateur' could mean a lot of different things. It is in the activities that we do whatever they are, without thinking of an actual end-result of money or fame - but rather the bundle of fun that comes with it. The word amateur could also mean...
