Kai Yamada is having fun with plastic. Cameras, that is. "The reason I like shooting with plastic cameras is for the simplicity. Working with the Diana, or Holga or whatever, strips down photography to the essentials. You, the subject, a simple lens to refract the image onto a medium. It doesn’t get any plainer than that!"

"Everywhere We Shoot":http://www.everywhereweshoot.com, a creative duo (comprised of Ryan Vergara & Garovs Garrovillo) based in Manila, Philippines was commissioned by a charity institution, "Tuloy Foundation":http://tuloy.sdb.ph/index.html for **120 Degrees of Life**, a photo exhibit featuring the streetchildren under their care. For EWS, this was a special challenge. After all, they have been dabbling in photography + art + design more prominently in the areas of fashion, music, and media.

Multiple-exposure images are easy to do, but quite difficult to pull off. Among the few who can master this trick effectively is Liad Cohen, LSI’s US Online Coordinator, and more importantly, a passionate Lomographer based in New York City. Besides taking long walks with his camera, he likes to write, play the guitar, and read (??Good Omens??, ??The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle??, ??Rule of the Bone??). He enjoys good movies (??Into the Wild??, ??Wristcutters??, ??Rocket Science??, ??Brotherhood of the Wolf??) and good music as well – his latest picks are ??In Rainbows by Radiohead??, and ??Mercy … by Ours??. A man of substance, talent, and good taste – that’s Liad Cohen for you!
