A great C-41 film, produced bright brilliant blue skies for my end of summer shots.
I went on an end of summer trip to Rome last week and brought my Holga loaded with Fuji Superia 100 film to capture shots of the city. Although expired, the film produced rather vibrant colors in all the shots. It is a color negative film so it was easy to get processed at local labs, I recommend this film for anyone looking for C-41 film, the colors in the shots are bolder than in nature.
Awed by the eye-popping fiery red shade the film produces, Joan brands the Lomography Redscale 100 (120 mm) as the most original emulsion in Lomography's catalogue. Aside from this, he also enjoys experimenting with the film's ISO to produce a variety of stunning results. Read on to find out why linuxbcn chose the Lomography Redscale 100 as his Weapon of Choice!
We've got a great month of workshops and events planned for the month of August. The perfect way to end this beautiful summer in Chicago! So grab your cameras (or borrow from us) and let's take some pictures!
This is a tutorial for the adventurous Lomographers, for those brave enough to do their own B&W and C-41 work but lacking the confidence to move onto E6. Fear no more! I am an enthusiastic home developer, just like the rest of you, I am not a chemical lab wizard! So if I can pull this off, so can the rest of you. Take a deep breath, relax, and read on. By the end of this article I hope you'll have mustered the courage to give it a go yourselves!
Where are you headed to this summer? Where I'm from summer has ended too soon, so I'm still daydreaming of sand and seafoam. I decided to check out the archives for some cool beach-y snapshots and came across a lot of interesting underwater photos! Check out my finds after the jump; hopefully this list will inspire you to grab a Fisheye Sub or a Krab, along with your Fisheye cameras and LC-A+, for some underwater adventure.
Last Sunday, a great yoga event was held in Cernobbio, a small tourist town near the city of Como. Local association Breathe Como made a performance of power yoga exercises to raise funds for Africa. I developed the film a few days ago, and today I'll show the photos to you! I call this "Fresh From My Darkroom" because I developed the black and white films by myself! Take a look!
Done shooting and want your films to be processed? We can process your colour and black & white 35mm, 120 or 110 films! Development, prints and scans are also included. (Service availability depends on your markets)
Homegrown band PROM and Austin-based band The Bright Light Social Hour made it to New York's CMJ Music Marathon, which took place late last October. They are Lomography's new LomoAmigos who have documented their experience at CMJ with the Pop 9 and the Colorsplash Cameras, respectively. Together with The Orchard, a music distribution firm, let's take a look at how things went at the music marathon!
