I’d read it was an animal when cross-processed. While I have found this to be the case, I’ve also seen it display a sensitive side… It seems to have a multiple personality depending on the amount of light it gets. I’ve seen it do delicate, I’ve seen it do vibrant, and I’ve seen it do crazy. I enjoy a little extra unpredictability in my Lomography, and if you feel the same this could be the film for you.

In bright sunlight you get strong yellow/green colour shift, and in the soft morning light it can imbue your photographs with delightful pastel hues. And then sometimes, completely randomly, you get ‘normally’ coloured shots but with the saturation turned up to 11!

The only things that stay consistent: huge amounts of grain… oh, and the beautiful purple negatives are a joy to behold!

If you can find any of this discontinued little gem, it’s certainly worth a try – what will it do for you?

Yes, you can surely see its diversity when comparing the skies in your shots. Seems like a great film to have in your arsenal when the proper photographic opportunity presents itself.
