If you had all the power in the world, what would you do with it? That was the Word of the Month challenge and these guys heeded the call and win in grand fashion!
Personally, I’d go with world peace, end to poverty and hunger, and something a little selfish for the last one that I won’t share for the moment. How about you? Got anything omnific in mind? Here are the winners of our Word of the Month: May competition who will get 10 godly Piggies each. Congrats!
Just last month, we gave you the opportunity to win beautifully illustrated goodies from UK-based illustrator Helena Carrington. From over 1000 entries, Helena herself has personally picked her Top 3 images and we are happy to announce the winners of Helena Carrington notebooks and cushions.
As contenders for the Nixon Surf Challenge title confronted the swell and unforgiving weather in Kamchatka, Russia, we challenged you to show us what the ‘riding life’ is all about through your analogue photos. Nixon has announced the Surf Challenge winner – it’s time we announced ours.
We had a huge response from this competition and quite rightly so, I mean who wouldn't want the chance to win a copy of the new Flying Lotus album? Anyway, we've picked our way through them all and chosen the best three. Find out who has won here.
Around a month ago, we teamed up with Exclaim.ca for the release of Jay Malinowski & the Deadcoast's new album "Martel", and invited all of you to submit photos that represent your interpretation of this new album.
There is nothing better than a photo shot at the perfect moment. Henri Cartier-Bresson's principle on "The Decisive Moment" is a principle that we should still follow to this day. A perfectly-timed photo creates impact, whether it's one of a friend jumping into the pool or a couple emerging from the ceremony on their wedding day. For this rumble, we want to see that breathtaking moment, shot at the perfect time. And you showed us what it's like to be on time.
We asked you if your photos were worthy of having their own exhibit, from the accidental shot that was taken from your hip or even the posed perfection you asked of your subjects. And you delivered! Check out the exhibit-worthy winners!
