Fuji's Sensia 400 is a slide film perfect for cross processing. Now that I've discovered it and the colours it can capture, it's the default film for my LOMO LC-A+!
I’ve had a few disasters with cross processing in the past— from my local lab refusing to do it, other labs doing it, and everything being wrong. So much so that I ended up just getting my slide film conventionally processed and just enjoying the muted colours.
That was until I found Fuji Sensia (available in 100, 200 and 400) and a great lab happy to xpro away!
When cross processed, the film produces amazing blues.
But it’s not just about the vivid blues. It works wonders with all colours.
And for another effect over expose it a little and get some dreamy scenes.

In December last year James Wright, editor and creative director of So It Goes Magazine, went on a two-week trip to Sri Lanka, "a place so long on our bucket list, but up until then, as yet unvisited," he writes on the first of his three-part photo diary. Lomography UK was lucky enough to test an LC-A 120 prototype in store and it was glorious! We used colour and black and white film to capture the camera at its finest. It was everything you would expect from the LC-A but in full frame 38mm f/4.5 120 film. It's LOVE.
