Lucky New SHD 100: The Perfect Film for Geting to Know B/W

4

If you want to try some B/W action, but you’re feeling like you’re not sure about your results, and don’t want to spend a lot of money on trying, this is the right film for you!

Lucky New SHD 100 is a fine grain, low-speed black/white film, which for its low price, makes a good value product to compete with other similar, and well-known films.

It first got to my hands when I was still feeling doubtful about my capacity to shoot B/W pictures. In fact, I had never tried this kind of films before, and somehow, I didn’t have to think it twice when I saw it at the shop. Must have been for its price, which persuaded me of purchasing it at last.

But, surprisingly, the results were amazing, at least a lot better than I expected! It shows a fine grain and sharp contrast when exposed correctly, and exposing correctly is not that difficult since it’s not slow at all. I used it in late autumn, when daylight is not very bright, and still, it behaved quite fast and sharp!

I also paired it with a red filter and the result is even higher contrast!

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this film for those who are trying, or willing to try B&W, or for anyone who wants to get nice pictures without using up all of his savings. If you find it in your shop, try it! And then show me your results, you can post the link at the comments below!
