LomoMatrix Paris

Paris has its own Lomomatrix!

After Sao Paulo , Chile, London and Amsterdam , Paris eventually has its own LomoMatrix !

For those of you who don’t know about it, the idea is taken from the movie Matrix and from its Bullet Time scenes, where the camera was travelling all around the characters. All we did is copy this effect with some Lomo LC-A and a handful of motivated lomographes, which we took to the Invalides. Here’s the result !

Thanks to all the lomographers who could make it (in alphabetical order) : adbigmilk , audreyglita , cc-in-paris , elvismartinezsmith , guiguiste , jeabzz , kamilou , lomographyparis , mmechoux , mikahsupageek , qlamerand , redtulip , sebastianerras , steven_vdw and tricky_vicky .

The Lomo LC-A+ is known worldwide for its amazing features: automatic exposure, extended ISO range, and multiple and long exposure capabilities. Get your own Lomo LC-A+ now!

LomoLocations: 'The Lord the Rings' Territory in New Zealand

Hiking in New Zealand has its own proper noun. Great Walks, they call it. The term stands for nine routes that can send people panting and oohing over nature. In 2001, another upper-case name sealed the country’s reputation for pristine land. "The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" became an accidental advertisement for the green wonders of New Zealand.

    Vintage Gallery: Coats

Trench, chesterfield, covert, raglan. The coat has a vocabulary of its own. And like words we use today, these styles still look current though their roots may go as far back as the mid 19th century. As if by lending these vintage snaps color and unruly hair we can easily mistake the coats to be from today.
