yeh. the scarerowman was out 'only in japan' last year and was said to be limit 300 pcs only. it was retailed at 15.750yen (~180usd). being a collector, I managed to get someone from japan to get it for me. + ship, around 200+usd..

and now LSI sells it for 105usd.

i'm so gonna give up collecting..

    @ ymmij

The limited edition that you bough was not sold by Lomography but rather by the Scarecrow brand and we do not have an influence over the prices that they, or other brands, charge. We were lucky to get a few pieces for the international market making them available to collectors around the world no matter where they live.

@ lucasjakobsson : yeh. well, I'm happy for those who are collectors and havent gotten this. just sad that i've spend 2 times the amount to get it. worse, I've 'helped' a few friends get it at that price too. :(

@ymmij, i almost fainted when i saw this too. damn. i'm begining to doubt those 'limited edition' crap. argh!

@ymmij, btw ... there are few people i know from the US that has paid way more than us to get the scarecrow shippied from japan through some japanese shopping site. This is because the store didn't accept overseas credit cards, thus they had to pay lots more for the services & shipping. I can imagine them banging their heads on the wall now.

    ymmij ·

@ndroo, ah well. anyway, i'm gonna stop my collection oredi. :D dun see the point collecting. even the exclusive meg recently came with a snatch bundle. lol. we should have waited a little longer just like wat cyanwater said. :P

I'm confused, I thought the new Diana was LSI exclusive? So, any brand can release a Diana?
