Lomowalk in London Recap: Highgate Cemetery with Natalie Wells

In true British summer style the day started with grey skies and a whole lot of rain. This didn’t deter our Lomography chums who all turned up with umbrellas, wellies and fancy waterproofs.

Natalie Wells lead the tour around the most famous cemetery in London, Highgate Cemetery, and told us all about the graves and the history of the burial site. We visited the graves of Karl Marx, Patrick Caulfield and Malcom Mclaren among many many others and noticed some really old unmarked graves in the undergrowth.

After another downpour the sun came out and we clicked away like crazy with our LCA+’s. Some of us got up close and shot the snails on the headstones…

and there were a lot of ghostly multiple exposures too!

We all got quite wet and muddy but it didn’t dampen our spirits. Lets just hope no un-invited guests make an appearance on our developed images. … BOO!

Many thanks again to our lovely Natalie Wells for hosting this walk!
