We are experimenting with the rare film 1443 Kodak Aerochrome. We used different labs to see results. Some ruined the film and some were perfect. We also experimenting with not using filters.
If you can find the film make sure you freeze it before you shoot, if its gonna be a long time. If you want intense color use the right chemicals – E6 rather than cross-process with C41. In regular film it makes the pics look intense, with this film it take away from it. The lines we do love , they fit the concept but it was a happy accident and we realized the place was very busy and the machine was to hot. The film is very temp. sensitive. When shooting indoors you get a blue tint and hair was very colorful. The lips will turn yellow. We also must stress the fact that if people act like know-it-alla don’t drop your film off. This film is rare they can be the best at every film but this one is so different. We know that most people use filters but we want to see the film raw as it is on its own.
I want to share with you my experience with some slides when I was in Russia. I'm very sorry for them because I messed them up. They're just ruined and they'll never be the same! But hey, I have thousands of them, so I guess it's not a big deal after all.

Weeks have passed and yet Germans are still celebrating the victory of their heroic football team. Shortly before the World Cup started, we took notice of an interesting photography project on Kickstarter. Berlin-based sports photographer Ryu Voelkel called for help to create a football photography book like no other. The campaign was successfully funded. Probably each one of you has been annoyed with failed film. This is particularly annoying when you get the developed film back from the lab, but you get blanks because the film was not exposed. It's either the film transport didn't work, or you have not taken the lens cap off, etc. Read on and I'll show you an alternative to just throwing away the film: Simply use it as a color filter for your camera, with the La Sardina for example.

I've been experimenting with many substances, more or less corrosives, for film manipulation. The images come out so different, that sometimes you can't even recognize them. The pictures in this experiment are a result of mixing bleach and detergent powder.

I made a short comparison between the "legendary" Kodak EIR Infrared film and the new LomoChrome Purple XR 100-400. Both pictures were made with the same camera-objective-combi: A Canon AE-1 Program with a 24mm wide-angle lens.
I participated in the Kickstarter campaign and purchased my very own new Petzval lens. I can't wait to use with with my digital camera to experience its wonderful bokeh effect.
