A beautiful place in Lucerne

This special place that I will show you, is one out of many that you will find in Lucerne. No doubt about that. BUT this place you will find no other travelers, because it's a secret that I am telling you. Even lots of people that live here have never been there. That's for sure. No matter, in winter, summer, autumn, spring, day or night this place is beautiful anytime. The building that you can see is part of the conservatoire...must be nice going to school there. Actually I have never seen people going in or coming out of it.

Apart from winter you can meet here some easygoing people that are having fun, playing, chilling, relaxing or partying. But as I said not many people go there so don’t think it will be crowded. No way.

You can get there from the train station by taking the bus no. 14. Get off the bus by “Konservatorium” it takes you about 10 minutes.

Hope you like this place and hey, maybe you got shoot there by another lomographer…that could be me.

The Magic Yet To Come: Part 2

I’d only heard rumors of the Magic Tree. I had no idea if they were true and, honestly, I’m still half disbelieving of it despite the story I’m about to tell you. If you have faith in what I say, I’m grateful. If you don’t, I bear no ill will towards you. But either way, please shout out in the comments what secrets or sophistries you think I found through its twisting branches.

Kick-Off Country: Kicking Off the World Cup Blues in Paris

Les Bleus may have been booted out of the World Cup by Germany, but for me France is always a winner. The number of places to go around Paris, especially, can never be exhausted: the Eiffel Tower, Sacré Cœur, the Seine, the Arc de Triomphe, and this time, I fell in love with the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise.

There’s something about New York that attracts people, something that makes both visitors from the most bucolic places and tourists from the most cosmopolitan of cities fall in love. Countless movies and television programs have been filmed in New York, and so many songs have been written in reminiscence of the place. It’s not just the Empire State Building, Times Square or Broadway; there’s something special about the streets and the people who walk on them that make spectators stop, look, and listen.

    Changing Seasons: Durham in Autumn

Durham is a beautiful but tiny university city in the north of England famous for its amazing cathedral, which is one of Britain's best loved buildings. When I was studying at the university, I loved to go for crisp, autumnal walks around the cathedral and the river, kicking the leaves and basking in the golden glow of the season. The Lomography Redscale film perfectly captures the beauty of this time of year.

Transient Living: The Craft and the Craftsmen of Denver, Colorado

The people of a city, to me, speak volumes about its culture and sense of community. And that is why I sought out the people who make Denver that much more interesting after the initial period of settling down. My search lead to a few establishments that have contributed to making Denver what it is today. In the second story on Transient Living, I present to you two of such establishments: The Craftsman & Apprentice, and A Small Print Shop.
