Ooh la la Paris

I invite you to spend a nice weekend in Paris with horaciorv, Peich and me.

In April, Horacio ran the Marathon of Paris and his most faithful cheerleaders went to support the best and fastest runner of all time:

The athlete was very lucky with the weather, no rain, the sun shone, and even midday was too hot, the morning was cool, perfect for running more than 42 kms.

The weather was very favorable for sports, and it was also great for photography. Will you join us in our wonderful Parisian weekend? Let’s go!

Our hotel was modest, but the breakfasts were wonderful, yummy, croissants! While in Paris, just forget your diet.

The neighborhood where we stayed in was great, it was next to the Eiffel Tower!

In Paris it is easy to move, the underground takes you everywhere and it’s not complicated.

Must visits are the narrow streets of Montmartre and the Church of "Sacre Coeur”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilique_du_Sacr%C3%A9-C%C5%93ur,_Paris:

Take a photo of Moulin Rouge and places around red light district:

Another must is the Notre Dame- .

Don’t forget the “flower market":http://www.geobeats.com/videoclips/france/paris/flower-market that is very close to the Cathedral:

I’m going to confess how we had time to see so much in a weekend…do not go into any museum. Perhaps it is a sin knowing the treasures the city has, but with that sun and nice weather the only thing we wanted to do was walk and walk, and take a lot of photos. But, between walking and more walking, we passed through the doors of the "Louvre"http://www.louvre.fr/llv/commun/home.jsp?bmLocale=en :

And Pompidou :

Walking around Saint Michel don’t miss Shakespeare and Company

Tour of the Seine River to see what old book or magazine to take home:

And of course, enjoy one of the best cuisines in the world, including “escargot” for the more adventurous, steak tartare, croque monsieur, good wine and if found, a “chic mojito” made with champagne (or two or three ):

If you are in Paris with your lover go to “Pont des arts”:

But my big recommendation in Paris is “do not plan a thing” as you are in for big surprises, like finding a space invader. Anywhere you can find fascinating images:

I hope you enjoyed the walk through the City of Lights. Au revoir!

PS: I went to Paris with 5 cameras: Polaroid SX-70 , Spinner360 , Canon Ftb QL , Diana F+ y LC-A+ . In the previous links you have the albums with film information.
