Close up photos are nice, but wide angle pictures are way cooler. With a stunning 22mm wide lens, this camera certainly does not disappoint.
This little charmer provides an alternative for beginners to try on wide angle lenses. Although there is already LC-Wide in the market and it has more functions and settings, Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim puts up a good fight with the much cheaper price and pictures that are to die for.
A few tips and tricks of using this camera will be shared as you continue reading this review. The Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim is an all-plastic point and shoot 35mm film camera with a fixed f/11 aperture. Shutter speed is also fixed at 1/125s, so 400 ISO film is recommended for general use. Confusing? In short, just make sure you have enough lighting when snapping a picture.
Well, if you’re a person who loves varieties in life then you might just want to experiment the camera with all sorts of film. I have attached a few examples of pictures taken with slide films, color negatives, and even expired films. Make sure that your finger is not on the front side of the camera when taking a picture. And never ever try snapping an indoor picture or at night if you’re not using a film with higher ISO, or if you don’t have professional indoor lighting.
Enjoy the wideness of the pictures and remember to see life in a wider and broader perspective.
Lots of Love! =)
