Wall side at Muralla St. Intramuros

A hot day with a bunch of friends can be a nice day to go to Muralla street at Intramuros. It is home to a couple of universities which makes the area filled with students when the classes are off.

A hot day with a bunch of friends can be a nice day to go to Muralla street at Intramuros. It is home to a couple of universities which makes the area filled with students when the classes are off.

The best Part of Muralla street is it houses the walls of Intramuros. Intramuros is a couple of centuries old fort built during the spanish colonization here in the Philippines.

The unusual thing about the cannons in the fort is that they are not pointed at the ocean but on the Parian or the Chinese settlements during that time! With a good view and good sun, you can fool around and take portraits of each other or take a good shot of the skyline of Manila and Manila City Hall.

As a final note, one should not forget to take a photo of the Manila Bulletin building as it is one of the oldest broadsheet publications in the country and it really is a classical looking structure.

My Day in Analogue: Lazy Summer Days at Home

Every summer, my soul screams for a lazy, hot day back at my parents' home, for some good food, relaxation, and catching up with childhood friends. This year is no different, so I went back down to my small hometown in the very northeast of Belgium to enjoy a perfect laid back day doing nothing and everything. And of course, I brought my analogue cameras along to eternalize all of these small but grand moments in life.

LomoAmigos: The Ting Tings Go Analogue!

The Ting Tings are a musical duo from Manchester who have more pop hits than you can shake a stick at. They are most famous for their 2008 hit "That's Not My Name" which got even the stiffest of people shaking in their seats. The Ting Tings are back with a brand new album called Super Critical. They are big film fanatics (check out their website for proof) so we gave them a Sprocket Rocket Camera and a bunch of film to document their life in sunny IBIZA.

The Magic Yet To Come: Part 1

Here’s a random and rather mysterious tale for you folks. Just the other day, I was at a local bar with a few friends. It was much like any other evening; we were sipping a couple of cocktails, recounting our adventures, falling over ourselves with laughter and half-drunkenly meditating on the meaning of life (a scientist once told me it’s 42 by the way). But then something truly strange happened. Read on to hear my story and please make a comment with your guess at the end!
