I found the cafe, `cause a friend of mine was working
there. It’s an old farmhouse. The woman owning that likes art and has every few weeks a new exhibition.
They make cakes on their own – jummy :-P really very
good and idyllic place. And they have re-built an old baking-house.
On April 11, Lomography UK will be celebrating Film Photography Day in style. We will be running a Konstruktor workshop and our very first LC-A 120 workshop. We will also be launching a brand new exhibit by our community members. There will be prizes, cake, free drinks, and a camera piñata, too!

From amateur to internationally exhibited photographer: Rudolf Dührkoop’s trajectory was aligned to the Pictorialist credo of artistic effort. The movement aimed to make photography more valuable through the practice of complex techniques. Dührkoop himself studied photogravure, which made some of his prints more tonal and charcoal-like.
Gian Paolo Barbieri started photography at a time when there were no official fashion editors. He designed sets and made accessories out of ordinary objects. And with an aesthete’s eye, he turned fashion into fiction.
Lomography has teamed up with Foto DC to get a true sense of Washington through a Spring competition. A slew of visceral, expressive images went under the critical eyes of curators Frank Hallam Day's and Melissa Golden, and we have a set of winners! Join us in the D.C. area on July 2 at 6:30 p.m. for an exhibition of the photos of the Faces and Places of D.C.
