From July 7th to 9th the old Stasi-Headquarters in Berlin Lichtenberg are the setting for Summer BRIGHT 2011. When you are into skateboarding and streetfashion THIS is the place to be! And Lomography cannot miss this event!

We will have a huge booth at the BRIGHT Marketplace which is accessible not only for registered visitors but open to the public! You can visit our booth at any time from July 7th to 9th. You really should not miss your chance to see what we have prepared for this trade fair!

Our crew will be awaiting you with a ship-shape programme. Step up and take on the Lomography Crew in tug-of-war or arm wrestling. Fancy getting a genuine sailor’s tattoo? We are offering up a free “La Sardina” if you have the guts! Or take part in the La Sardina Design competition!

Certainly we have also prepared some nice workshops for you as well:

Thursday, 07.07. – 5pm – Skate or Die – Fisheye on Board
tickets: € 10, incl. lend-a-camera and 1 roll of film
Behind our booth you will find a skateboard ground. At 5pm the international Team Demo starts. We will be equipped with some Fisheye 2 cameras and capture the amazing skateboard action.

    Changing Seasons: Durham in Autumn

Durham is a beautiful but tiny university city in the north of England famous for its amazing cathedral, which is one of Britain's best loved buildings. When I was studying at the university, I loved to go for crisp, autumnal walks around the cathedral and the river, kicking the leaves and basking in the golden glow of the season. The Lomography Redscale film perfectly captures the beauty of this time of year.

We went to Jaisalmer, one of the most gorgeous cities I have ever seen (located on the border with Pakistan) and decided to stop by the remote Thar Desert, which is where these pictures were taken.
